More than half a billion children and adolescents (< 14 years old) are not achieving minimum proficiency levels in reading and mathematics.
More than half of the 617 million below reading proficiency in the world (357 million) are children below 11 years old.
Of all children around the world: Those who were never enroll in a school or those who are in school but will drop out before the end of primary school.

To build on existing expertise in addressing provision
To grow capacity amongst educators to provide training, assessment of children's literacy
To provide hardware and software solutions to enable the tools to be out there to

About the Founder
Kausor Amin-Ali qualified as a teacher from the University of Cambridge in 2002.
He has experience in working in numerous schools in England and in the UAE, with more than fitfteen years in senior school leadership.
He has been a School Principal on four occasions and a Headteacher also. He is also Chair of Governors at an infant school in England.
